Science Club Special Election – Tues 08/28 @4:30pm in Room 439


Before the semester really gets underway, Science Club will be holding a special election to elect a new president. Anyone interested in participating in Science Club this semester is invited to attend. Come find out about events we are planning this semester. We will also be taking suggestions for activities you would like to see. Hope to see you there!


Last Meetings of Semester!

Tuesday, May 08 3pm-4pm Election in Room 412

Nominees will have an opportunity to speak to the club and then club members will vote to select the new board members for the Fall 2018-Spring 2019 academic year.

Then… a very special meeting afterwards. Dr. Nolan-Riegle will give her famous “Chocolate Talk” and we will celebrate the end of the semester with a potluck. This will take place at 4:45pm-5:45pm in Room 441. RSVP here! Everyone is welcome!

Science Club Meeting (04/24/18)

Tues. April 24 (3:00pm in Room 436)

Find out about officer roles and how to apply for a position on our board. Then we will demo KinderCaminata booths: “What is Oobleck?” and “What Colors are in my Candy?”. If you plan on volunteering, you don’t want to miss out!


Science Club Meeting (Tues 04/10/18)

Our next meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday 4/10 at 3pm in Room 436NOTE: We are meeting in a different room this time because we will be making soap from scratch! It will be a lot of fun and I hope you all can attend.
Also, there will be an event aimed at supporting the Newport Bay Conservancy which Science Club sadly will not be attending, however, we still would like to help out. The Newport Bay Conservancy is a local nonprofit that works to conserve, restore, and protect the Upper Newport Bay. They have a wishlist of donation items to help them with their cause so if you can donate any of the following items, please bring them to the meeting tommorow.
